Back at My Alma Mater as a Company Representative ?????? This week, I had the opportunity to return to my alma mater, but this time as a company representative in the packaging industry. It was a great chance to connect with students, share some insights into the field, and discuss how the packaging industry is evolving, especially in terms of sustainability and innovation. Looking back at my time there, it’s rewarding to now be in a position to offer advice and help students who are just starting to think about their careers. It’s always interesting to hear fresh perspectives from the next generation, and I’m excited to see where they take the industry. Grateful for the opportunity to give back and to continue growing in the industry.

Earlier this week, three members of the PSI team had the privilege of attending the Virginia Tech Packaging Career Fair, connecting with talented students eager to shape the future of packaging. A special shoutout to Molly Trinh, our Packaging Engineer and proud VT alum (Class of May 2024)! Not only did Molly represent PSI at the event, but she also showcased her creativity by designing and constructing the corrugated coat rack next to our booth — how cool is that? ??? The event was a fantastic opportunity to network with students exploring internships, cooperative education, full-time positions, and participate in on-campus interviews. Alongside the Packaging Job Fair, we also toured VT’s state-of-the-art packaging facilities, including their impressive testing labs. ????
