The Veterans Business Outreach Center of the Pacific (VBOC) provides entrepreneurial advisory and training such as Boots-to-Business, Reboot, assistance with business plans, social media, marketing, strategies, projections, access to capital and much more to eligible veterans, disabled veterans, reservist, guardsmen, active duty and spouse of military persons in the State of Hawaii, Guam and American Samoa. It is a program of the University of Hawaii at Hilo in a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration serving Hawaii, Guam, and American Samoa.

  • Important Update on SBA’s Certification Systems SBA recently announced that starting August 1, initial applications for government contracting certifications will pause for the month to implement a planned upgrade across all of SBA’s certification systems. The upgrade will make SBA certifications easier for our small business customers—including making it possible to apply for multiple certifications at once. The upgraded system is expected to be available for new certifications in early September.?
