关于我们
Founded in 1995, Pacific Biodiesel is the nation's longest operating and most experienced biodiesel producer, and the only commercial producer of liquid biofuel in Hawaii. A Maui-based company with nearly 100 employees statewide, we established the first retail biodiesel pump in America and for more than 25 years we've been an innovative leader in the renewable energy industry. With a nameplate production capacity of 5.5 million gallons annually, our refinery on Hawaii Island utilizes advanced technology to produce premium distilled biodiesel. Our company has always focused on recycling with a zero waste philosophy that incorporates development of value-added co-products. Today, our collaborative, community-based "agriculture and energy" production model demonstrates a full-circle sustainability system designed to fight climate change and help Hawaii achieve a clean, sustainable energy future.

It was truly our honor to welcome folks for special private farm tours on Friday, July 12th at our first field of blooming sunflowers on Kaua'i – the same 100-acre field where we held a Blessing on Earth Day. Here’s a recap of the beautiful day, which included a tour of our new crushing mill at the Gay & Robinson, Inc. property in Kaumakani, and a visit to the blooming sunflower field via a school bus shuttle provided by Hawaii Agricultural Foundation. From local high school students and teachers, to our biodiesel supporters and culinary oil customers, and other local business owners and community leaders including Kaua?i County Mayor Derek Kawakami, the group learned about our company's renewable fuel and regenerative agriculture model, part of our expansion of agriculture operations to Kaua'i announced earlier this year. Mahalo to Kaua‘i for embracing us with such ALOHA!
