We’re excited to welcome Ky Moody as our new Executive Director at Mirabella Seattle, our premier continuing care retirement community in the South Lake Union neighborhood. Ky has nearly 15 years of experience in senior living and continuing care retirement communities, including as Regional Director of Operations with the Tutera Group in the Midwest and, most recently, Executive Director of a Lifespace community in south Florida. Ky says he was drawn to PRS because of its willingness to be innovative in its offerings for residents, such as new technology and activities that give residents a chance to do something they’ve never done before. “I love having residents try new things, whether it’s surfing, kayaking, partnering with a local country club or eating something they’ve never tasted before. My idea of successful programming is having residents tell their families, ‘Look what I did today.’” Ky begins his role with Mirabella Seattle on Jan. 20.??

What does it take to bring generations together? It can be as simple as just listening. “It has taught me kids really are lonely,” says a resident at Mirabella at ASU, a community in the PRS family. “It’s meeting a need I never would’ve known about.”
As you return to campus this spring semester, keep an eye out for Mirabella at ASU resident Pencie Culver, who spends Tuesday afternoons at a bench just east of the Lattie Coor building on the ASU Tempe campus. She, along with other Mirabella at ASU residents, sit on the bench to listen to student stories and share any wisdom they might have if it's welcome. Welcome back to campus Sun Devils!
