Pacific Premier Bank is proud to deliver a 2024 AHEAD Program grant in the amount of $100,000 in partnership with Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco to A Step to Freedom (ASF) that will help boost economic vitality in Los Angeles, CA. ASF’s mission is to enhance the lives of low-income individuals and families who struggle with social and economic disparities caused by homelessness, lack of education, substance abuse, and mental illness by providing a safe and nurturing environment to break cycles, heal and thrive. ASF's workforce development program provides career exploration, support with education and certification, and placement at a partner organization for work experience. The AHEAD Program will help with the growing needs of the ASF program by using funds to hire an employment specialist and provide stipends to participants. #AHEADGrant #WorkforceDevelopment #CommunityEmpowerment

The Center by Lendistry works to close the racial wealth gap with low- to moderate-income communities and BIPOC-led small businesses through education, technical assistance, and access to competitive financing. The Main Street Goes Green project will research and develop a digital toolkit to provide information and resources for small businesses to reduce their carbon footprint, cut energy costs, comply with regulations, and participate in the growing green economy. By embracing energy efficiency, these businesses can lower operating expenses, boost profitability, and create jobs. Pacific Premier Bank is proud to deliver a 2024 AHEAD Program grant in the amount of $76,436 in partnership with Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco to GRID Alternatives Inland Empire (GRID) that will help boost economic vitality in Riverside, CA. GRID is one of the largest nonprofit providers of low-carbon solutions, and provides workforce development training through solar installation, electric vehicle charging station builds, and rebate administration. GRID expanded its training program into Tribal communities, ensuring that individuals most affected by economic and environmental inequities are the ones who are leading and benefiting from the growing energy economy. This project will train individuals from Tribes about solar construction and provide paid hands-on experience.
