With the support of PTI New Zealand, Shelley Burich, founder of Vaoala Vanilla, turned her vision into reality. Through PTI’s Investment Readiness Programme, she secured local investment—not just in capital, but in land—allowing her to relocate and expand her vanilla farm. Now, Shelley is taking it a step further by transforming her farm into a training hub for the local community, sharing her knowledge and creating new opportunities in vanilla cultivation. With thanks… Rosemarie Palu, manager of Pacific Sunrise Fishing based in Nuku’alofa in the Kingdom of Tonga, writes in appreciation of PTI NZ’s support programmes. “The PTI NZ support is very well received. It was of great assistance at what still seems to be a challenging time. It makes things a little easier when there is a cash injection into our business. “We also appreciate that there is an organisation that is willing to help in some way, when there sometimes seems to be so little assistance available.” Pacific Sunrise Fishing was a recipient of the Freight Support Programme, provided by PTI NZ in 2024. https://lnkd.in/gVhbWFqr https://lnkd.in/gYx9G4GT https://lnkd.in/gsKD2knS #PacificTradeInvest #PacificCollaboration #BluePacific #PacificGrowth #PacificSuccess #FreightSupportProgramme #PacificSunriseFishing #Pacificexports @PacificSunriseFishing @NZTongaBusinessCouncil @TongaChamberofCommerce&Industry @TongaMTED

Get by with a little help from my friends… Pacific Santo Limited Vanuatu was one of the recipients of Pacific Trade Invest’s 2024 Freight Support Programme. Alex Adam, director of at Pacific Santo Kava comments: “PTI NZ has supported us through a grant to meet some of our air freight costs. We appreciate the support, as this contributes to getting our company more investment and development. “This is also contributing to our growth, because the money you have granted enabled us to spend the equivalent elsewhere in developing the company. For example, recently we have been hiring additional workers. And this year we are looking to build a new factory. “With the help from PTI NZ, we have been working on the New Zealand market, to expand our activity and increase our export there. We are now exporting more – having two additional clients in New Zealand since last time we spoke for the grant. “We would like to take the opportunity to thank you and your team once again for the support you gave us. https://lnkd.in/gZATmSxn https://lnkd.in/g2WmQKeB https://lnkd.in/gbCjtHWY #PacificTradeInvest #PacificCollaboration #BluePacific #PacificGrowth #PacificSuccess #FreightSupportProgramme #VanuatuKava #Pacificexports
