?? Exciting news! ?? We've launched a version 1.0 of our educational arcade game: Mental Math Club! Google Play: https://lnkd.in/gcg7huau Apple App Store: https://lnkd.in/g9XiRJCA In version 1.0 these are the highlights: - Endless random problem generation, in batches of 8 so it's not too many problems to tackle at once for a quick session - The Foundations Pathway (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division) gives you a solid set of problem types to be able to refresh your mental math skills, while giving you a bit of a challenge - Sliding difficulty/expertise scale; the better you do, the larger the numbers can be! If you're struggling, the difficulty will also ease up a bit so it's not so punishing. - Animated Club Classmates will react to you getting problems right or wrong, in addition to wandering around the classroom - Sound effects and music can be toggled on or off via the settings! If you have feedback for the game, we've also included a link to a feedback form which you can let us know what you think would be most important for the game to have going forwards! -------- It's been a journey getting here; but I'm really excited to be sharing this first step with everyone! We built the game using Godot Engine, a free and open source game engine that is packed with features and extensibility! Even on this first version we were able to create a custom tool that allowed you to swap between layouts within the editor to help you preview which layout would be inflated based on the OS (we're also working on a desktop version)! There are so many more exciting things to come, starting with an update in September! There will be more information about that in the dev log that will be posted to our site: https://lnkd.in/gCD9sw69 in the coming weeks. Also a special shout-out(s) to just a few of the folks who have helped along the way: Elsie M., Ryan Hendrickson, Kyle Johnson, Shafik Q.
