Hey! University Marketers, what's your take on podcasting? A podcast for your Uni, or higher ed institution, may just be something to look into. Reach and inspire future students, form a greater community, and get your latest research out there beyond an academic paper. Lower Street's December Office Hours are shining the spotlight on one higher ed podcast: Desi Routes & Roots. Shannon Young of the Seattle University Roundglass India Center will join Annalise Nielsen for a chat on their experience with podcasting, and the benefits they've seen. Podcasts could be just be the solution for many Universities. In academia, so much is about mentoring students and providing narratives for them to follow or aspire to. A podcast can share those narratives. Podcasting can be a way to reach bright minds, to form community, and even share research well beyond the confines of a campus. For our December Office Hours, Shannon Young of Seattle University's Roundglass India Center is joining us to share their experience in higher education podcasting. Earlier this year the Roundglass India Center launched Desi Routes & Roots as a way of sharing the stories of trailblazing Indian Americans. Register for free at the link in event.
