Earlier today, Pace Suburban Bus joined U.S. Congressman Bill Foster for a ceremonial check presentation marking the award of $1 million in Community Project Funding. This funding will provide five electric ADA paratransit vehicles for McHenry County, enhancing mobility options for individuals with disabilities and supporting the region’s commitment to sustainable transit solutions.? https://lnkd.in/gHuwag89

Pace’s transportation partners, the Regional Transportation Authority of Northeastern Illinois (RTA) and Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning are accepting applications for local technical assistance by noon on Friday, April 4. Both agencies provide expert support to help northeastern Illinois communities with corridor plans, capital improvements, bike and pedestrian connectivity, and more. At today’s Board of Directors meeting, Pace leadership discussed the ongoing?ReVision?network restructuring project. Following extensive public outreach, Pace is moving forward to the next phase of ReVision, developing a Draft Network Plan that will shape the future of suburban transit service. “This is a crucial moment for Pace. With sustainable funding, we can enhance frequency, expand access, and create a more connected transit network.
