The J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference #JPM2025 always delivers on its promises: what a fabulous opportunity to catch up with networks, make new connections, dig into trends, and mobilize around the topics that we care about. And we all hate-but-enjoy the “JPM terrain” – who doesn’t love conducting critical business meetings in emptied hotel rooms, or perched on a single foot of wall space at the Starbucks in the Hilton Union Square. This year, at least, we were treated to bright sunshine and dry strolls between meetings in San Francisco! ?????? ?????????????????? ???????? ???????? ????????’?? ??????????????????: ????? ?????????????????? ???????????? ?????? ????????. While the healthcare sector is facing significant uncertainty with the incoming administration—perhaps the most in recent years—the atmosphere was notably vibrant. People were engaged, eager, and ready to act, setting a fresh tone compared to prior years. ??????????????????????????? ?????? ??????????’?? ????????????. Maintaining and expanding progress in women’s health was a central conversation. Attending the PEWIN - Private Equity Women Investor Network event on Sunday brought so much energy, featuring Liz Powell, Co-Founder of Women's Health PAC, Kristen Dahlgren, former NBC Correspondent and Founder and CEO of Cancer Vaccine Coalition, and Ricki Pollycove, a renowned Bay Area OBGYN. And it was amazing to see a sea of pink on Tuesday – special thanks to Ted Haack for always being an ally. ??????????????????????? ??????????-?????? ????????????. I had the privilege of meeting so many exciting start-ups and entrepreneurs, and I’m beyond excited about deploying capital in 2025 to drive meaningful impact. Special thanks to Frederique Dame, and gratitude to the Oak HC/FT and GV (Google Ventures) teams for hosting an incredible breakfast gathering. A shoutout to Cooley LLP, Nader Elrashidy, and Christina Roupas for bringing the Midwest community together! ????????????????? ?????? ??????????????????????. A huge thank-you to Amin Jallouli and the Bridge Funding Global team for supporting PACE Healthcare Capital. Amin went above and beyond—whether it was a fabulous work-walk, fueling me with caffeine before investor meetings, or personally ensuring I arrived on time, I couldn’t be more grateful for partners like you. ??????????? ???? ????????????????...? No trip to San Francisco is complete without amazing food. It was great catching up with the fabulous Ling Kung to talk about healthcare tech trends, juggling careers and families as women in our 40s, and staying (mostly) sane—all over a delicious Cantonese feast. Truly, good food solves a lot of things… For me, this year’s JPM is officially wrapped, though I know many are still hard at work covering ground. Looking forward to seeing what 2025 has in store.
