The PACE Association of Michigan is a 501(c)(6) association dedicated to the expansion of comprehensive health care services to the frail elderly through the Program of All-inclusive Care for Elderly (PACE). The Association was officially incorporated in March of 2015 by the 6 existing Michigan PACE programs, which have been in operation for several years. Today, there are several operational PACE programs in Michigan with more expected to open soon. Although the Michigan PACE programs have worked as an informal collaborative in the past, we identified the need and the benefits to us, both collectively and individually, by formalizing our relationship. To this end, the PACE Association of Michigan was developed to support, safeguard, and expand Michigan PACE programs and initiatives through education and advocacy to enhance the lives of PACE participants and their caregivers. Nationally, there are over 115 PACE organizations operating in?over 30 states

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of NPA, we are comparing information about PACE between today and three decades ago.
