The Puget Sound chapter of PACCAR Women's Association Outreach?brought one of our newest Kenworth T680 trucks to Bellevue High School to inspire the next generation! Students from across Bellevue School District interested in careers in automotive and diesel repair, engineering, and other trades met PACCAR engineers, technical advisors, HR recruiters, and a representative of the Kenworth diesel technician school program. "This event bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world application by allowing students to interact with industry professionals and gain hands-on experience with their Kenworth diesel truck. Seeing firsthand how their classroom lessons on automotive systems connect to the work done by engineers, technicians, and other experts at PACCAR truly brought their learning to life. We are thankful for PACCAR’s support in helping our students explore these exciting career pathways, and we look forward to future opportunities to collaborate.” Jess Moyer, Bellevue School District Director of Career and Technical Education. Introducing Raj Mandadi – Software Development Manager at PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD). With over 11 years of experience at PACCAR, Raj has held various roles, including Software Engineer, Scrum Master, Project Manager, Product Owner, and Software Development Manager. In addition to his primary responsibilities, he leads the ITD Diversity Council, a role he embraced as chair of the ITD Diversity and Inclusion team in 2023. Raj recognizes the importance of understanding diverse perspectives in our interconnected world, especially within the ITD division, which comprises employees from 22 different countries. The ITD Diversity Council has implemented numerous cultural awareness initiatives, diversity celebrations, and community outreach programs that not only enrich the workplace culture but also enhance collaborative efforts. When asked about his motivation to get involved in Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) work, Raj said, “I believe that fostering a diverse environment is essential for cultivating a sense of belonging among employees, helping them feel more connected and productive. I am also passionate about creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute, ultimately leading to a more engaged and high-performing team.” He also noted PACCAR’s commitment to fostering an inclusive culture that enables diverse employees to thrive in their careers while pursuing personal growth. #WeArePACCAR #PACCARSpotlight

The PACCAR North Texas Black Organization for Leadership & Development (PNT BOLD) hosted a session for Black History Month that included an insightful Lunch & Learn featuring Dr. Nikki Delk.
