Last week, the PACCAR Technical Center hosted a “Pizza with PACCAR” event at the University of Washington to share our exciting programs with the engineering students. Topics discussed were the eTruck Challenge, Formula SAE electric, capstone projects, internships, and career opportunities with PACCAR. Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers out there! Ian is employed with PACCAR Technical Center (PTC) as a senior user experience designer. He is an excellent example of how fathers can motivate their kids. His son,?Chris,?is employed by PTC as an embedded systems software engineer. This happens more often than you might imagine at PTC because we employ a number of parents whose kids come to work with us. This is a great demonstration?of what an amazing place PTC is! Zuzana Pankovcin, Corporate/PTC Sr. Technical Recruiter held a resume workshop with the e-Truck Challenge team at the University of Washington. The e-Truck Challenge program operates as a Registered Student Organization (RSO), and engages over 100 students from all engineering disciplines, and is supported by 4 PACCAR-sponsored Capstone Projects. The team is tasked with converting a PACCAR-donated Peterbilt 337 medium duty conventional vehicle to an Electric Vehicle over the course of 4 years. #PACCAR #etruckchallenge #UniversityofWashington
