?? Busy Week for the CareerLink Business Services Team!??? ? We’ve been out and about in the community making connections and supporting workforce development!? Here’s a look at what we accomplished last week: ? ?? Wednesday, 11/20:?Partnered with Thaddeus Stevens College for a job fair at Tec Centro to help? recent graduates connect with employers. ?? Thursday, 11/21:?Supported the Columbia Market House in hosting a job fair for local residents. ?? Friday, 11/22:?Organized a rapid response job fair for Kunzler employees impacted by the plant closure. ? ? Special Shout-Out:?At the Thaddeus Stevens job fair, Brandon Smith from Wohlsen Construction went above and beyond!? After hearing from an HVAC instructor about the need for tape measures for his students, Brandon stepped up and, with support from Wohlsen Construction, personally delivered the tape measures to the instructor. ? We’re so grateful for Brandon and Wohlsen Construction’s generosity and commitment to education and workforce development.? We got to witness Lancaster City Alliance present them with a JUMBO check, a fantastic boost for this awesome local spot! ? It was standing room only – talk about a packed house! ??♀???♂?
