Sandra Day O’Connor has left a powerful legacy behind, especially for women and Arizonans. She was not only the first woman appointed to the US Supreme Court, but she was also the first woman Majority Leader in the Arizona Senate! She was a true trailblazer and broke so many “glass ceilings”. Her commitment to justice, intellect and determination to get the job done earned her the respect and admiration of the nation.
