The P2S Long Beach office marched into spring with a fun-filled event packed with games, snacks, and prizes! Employees enjoyed an afternoon of movement and munchies, creating their own hiking snack bags filled with delicious treats. The March on the Spot challenge put coordination to the test—participants marched in place, and the one who stayed closest to their original spot won an REI gift card! A big thank you to our DOPE Team—P2S’s Department of Planning Events—for organizing another great event. From social gatherings to company-wide celebrations, they always bring the fun!

Happy first day of Spring! What better way to celebrate than revisiting one of our proudest achievements? Less than a year ago, P2S won the 2024 Preservation Design Award for our MEP engineering work on the Huntington Rose Garden Tea Room! This renovation restored the original 1911 fa?ade, expanded outdoor dining, and improved service areas—ensuring this beloved space continues to welcome guests for years to come. Designed by architect Myron Hunt, the Tea Room has a rich history, and we’re honored to have played a role in its preservation. A big thank you to The Huntington and Architectural Resources Group for their collaboration on this $11.2M project. ??
