On Wednesday, PJ Hoerr held a groundbreaking ceremony at the City of Washington's Fire Department to kick off the construction of the new Police Evidence Building. The event was attended by Washington community members, first responders, and members of the building team. Attendees heard from Congressman Darin LaHood, Mayor Gary Manier, and Police Chief Mike McCoy about how much this new building will mean to the people of Washington. Chief McCoy announced that the building would be named after Washington’s Mayor, Gary Manier.
