I feel like the thing that isn't getting the attention that it deserves from a tech standpoint when it comes to Bluesky Social is that they run **ON-PREM**. I want everyone to think about the growth that they have been experiencing over the past few months has all been on servers they control, not a cloud hyperscaler. They are absolutely destroying the narrative that elasticity or unpredictable growth can only be managed in a public cloud provider. This should be a case study for every SaaS, social media, or other startup with the potential for hockey stick user growth without having to hockey stick headcount or their AWS bill.
