YouTube has officially dethroned Spotify and Apple as the #1 service used most often for podcast. Video isn't just complementing audio—it's expanding the ecosystem. The numbers don't lie: ?? 79% of Americans (228M) listen to online audio monthly (??Spotify,??YouTube Music, ??Pandora) ?? 55% Americans consume podcasts monthly (including video podcasts) ?? Weekly podcast listeners up to 115M Americans ?? AM/FM radio still dominates listening in vehicles, but CarPlay and Android Auto’s share is increasing Our take ?? Digital Audio media consumption is at an all-time high, with streaming and podcasts driving growth. And video’s a net positive for podcasts. We’re seeing more growth as on-demand audio becomes the default in cars as well.
