Our onions go through metal detectors just like you at the airport! We use metal detectors for Food Safety, primarily, onions are passed through metal detectors to ensure food safety for consumers. To Prevent Contamination, During the growing, harvesting, and processing stages, there's a slight risk of metal fragments (like small pieces of equipment, nails, or even broken tools) inadvertently entering the onion process. Consumer Protection, metal detectors act as a crucial safeguard, identifying and removing any onions containing metal contaminants.
