  • At OWL Computing Development, combining profit with purpose is at the heart of what we do—so we kicked off 2025 by volunteering with Degage Ministries ???? Dégagé Ministries is more than just an organization—it’s a beacon of hope for individuals facing homelessness. They offer vital resources like meals, overnight shelter, job placement assistance, and emotional support to help people regain stability and dignity. Their mission is deeply rooted in empowering lives and restoring a sense of purpose to those who need it most. During our time volunteering, we had the privilege of helping organize that storage and donation sorting area. We learned that the leading cause of homelessness is actually family issues, and only 6% of homelessness is caused by substance abuse. It was a humbling reminder of the power of community and the importance of supporting those around us.

  • Owen recently joined the team as a Software Developer Intern after graduating from Grand Valley State University in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. As an eager learner, he is passionate about diving into new technologies and gaining hands-on experience. Owen is excited to collaborate with his team, contribute to real-world projects, and continuously refine his skills in software development and problem-solving. In his free time, Owen enjoys playing golf, watching football, and building legos.
