Yesterday was Equal Pay Day. We're taking the time to reflect on the stark reality of the gender wage gap. Equal Pay Day symbolizes how far into the year women must work to earn what men earned in the previous year. Shockingly, women, on average, earn only 84 cents for every dollar earned by men. Nevertheless, there is hope. The number of women in leadership roles is steadily increasing. Last year, 52 women were listed as CEOs in the Fortune 500, marking a significant rise from the previous year. Additionally, a record-breaking 10% of companies on the Fortune 500 list were led by women for the first time ever. At Owl’s Brew, we remain committed to fostering an environment where everyone’s contributions are valued equally. As we raise our cans of Owl’s Brew today, let’s toast to progress, to the resilient spirit of women, and to a future where equal pay is not just a dream but a reality. #EqualPayDay
