Jobsite walkthroughs are an important part of O-A-K's safety culture, addressing and correcting any potential hazards. Seth Wehner, SMS, CHST Wehner, SWMGT Safety Consultant, and Robert Gulliver, O-A-K Safety Director, recently conducted a site audit at the Grand Rapids Public Museum, which has several safety complexities due to the tight historic site and proximity to the Grand River.

At O-A-K, our commitment to the communities we serve goes beyond construction. This week, we had the opportunity to support Gateway Elementary School by donating school supplies during their preparation week. ???? Being just down the road in our Fort Myers office, our support for Gateway Elementary is a special way to connect with our local community. Investing in both educators and students helps build a brighter future for everyone. ??

We are excited to share the revitalization of Franklin Park Elementary, a historic school that has evolved into a cherished community landmark, proudly rebuilt with a joint venture between Tobler Construction, Inc and O-A-K. With re-used bricks featured on the front, the new building honors its rich legacy. Attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony was a privilege, and the community’s enthusiasm and pride was truly inspiring. As we prepare for the grand opening on August 12th, we celebrate this milestone and look forward to the new chapter in Franklin Park’s storied history.
