?? Mark Pasnik delivered the keynote "Tough Love: Brutalism at Middle Age" at Monday's 68th national conference of the Association of University Architects (www.theaua.org). Hosted by the University of Massachusetts Amherst's Campus Planning, the gathering included more than 100 campus architects from colleges and universities across North America. Its theme was "Reinventing the Modern."
