Today, Still Waters had the privilege of supporting the Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana Chapter! We engaged in meaningful discussions about policy changes and innovative research initiatives. One of the key highlights was learning about the new blood test that detects amyloid biomarkers, which can indicate the risk of Alzheimer’s disease. This groundbreaking advancement has the potential to lead to earlier interventions and improved management for those at risk. As an active participant in this important mission, we are excited to contribute and be part of the progress in understanding and combating Alzheimer's disease. Thanks to the incredible support of OrthoIndy, we’ve transformed an ordinary hallway into something truly extraordinary: a peaceful and serene indoor park designed with seniors with dementia in mind. ?? This special space gives our guests a safe place to explore and enjoy some much-needed independence. While it can be difficult for individuals with dementia to walk outdoors on their own, this indoor park provides them with a similar experience – complete with the soothing sounds of birds chirping and a gentle waterfall. It’s a place to wander, relax, and even sit with a newspaper. ????? We’re so grateful for OrthoIndy’s generous grant that helped us bring this vision to life, and for Cit-E-Volve’s execution in making this dream a reality. ?? Exciting news! We're thrilled to announce the grand opening of our Indoor Mobility Park, a safe and engaging space promoting movement and connection for our guests and their families. Huge thanks to OrthoIndy for their generous grant, Cit-E-Volve, LLC and Marcos Galan for their incredible build work, Amanda Dinges for her creative design, and Merry Crews for the countless volunteer hours. Our guests are already enjoying this new addition, and we can't wait to welcome the community during our Open House this spring. Stay tuned for details!
