Bringing a Vision to Life: The Creative Strategy Behind the Taste Salud x Les Do Makeup Campaign Launch Every campaign tells a story that resonates and connects. For the Taste Salud x Les Do Makeup launch, we tapped into our Founder & Creative Director, Denitza Leon, to share the creative strategy. Denitza aimed to create a campaign that was authentic, intentional, and deeply rooted in Latino culture. The goal was to merge both brand identities while representing their flavors—Hydration + Immunity and Energy + Focus—through a vibrant, nostalgic, and culturally resonant campaign. The flavor, Raspa Azul, evoked memories of Latino street vendors, especially in Texas (raspas) and the West Coast (raspados). This regional distinction became the foundation for our creative direction, ensuring every detail connected to the communities we serve. The Three Worlds We Created ?? Mercado Set (On-Location) – A Cultura Tribute to Nostalgia Inspired by a Mexican mercado, we recreated the warmth of childhood afternoons waiting for our favorite street vendor. Dulces, aguas frescas, raspas, and colorful umbrellas made it feel like home. Every detail, from custom tabletops to coolers filled with ice, grounded the campaign in our cultura’s warmth. ?? Verano Set (Studio) – Summer Nostalgia & Hydration + Immunity The set immersed the audience in a summer escape with cool blue hues, real sand, and soft pink tones. The refreshing sip of Raspa Azul embodied hydration on a warm day, making it more than functional but a feeling. ?? Gym Set (Studio) – High-Energy & Hydration + Energy The gym set was full of bold pink gel lighting, mimicking a heartbeat to symbolize the physical boost. The set leaned into fast-paced visuals, dynamic workout moments, and electrifying energy. The Reality Behind the Scenes Denitza shared the biggest challenge was simple: “Honestly, it wasn’t easy.” Producing at this scale meant long days, late nights, and an all-hands-on-deck effort. From hauling sand to building custom sets, there were moments when exhaustion hit, and the vision didn’t fully come together until Les stepped on set. Despite the challenges, when Taste Salud saw the mercado, verano, and gym sets—they were in awe. In that moment, every challenge was worth it. Why We Create In a world that can feel overwhelming, creativity is a form of resilience. We may not fix everything, but we can create—and that’s powerful.
