Spring Mentorship Apps are Open!??? Out in Tech U’s Mentorship Program has paired 1,000+ youth aged 17-24 with tech professionals from Out in Tech’s membership. Each mentee is paired with a mentor to learn a mix of technical and professional skills needed to launch a successful tech career. The Spring 2025 cohort runs for 8 consecutive weeks, beginning April 17th and is open to mentees in the US, Canada, Australia, or UK and mentors in the US, Canada, and the UK. We strongly encourage women, Black, Latinx, and transgender / non-binary / or gender non-conforming individuals to apply for mentor and mentee roles. Know someone? We’ll be offering mock interviews, resume reviews, and professional headshots. No judgment. Just practical advice, real conversations, and people in your corner who’ve walked the same path. This work means the world to me. I started Out in Tech years ago in the Google Drive NYC Launch War Room with one goal: to make sure LGBTQ+ folks could find their place on a rocket ship and soar. Many of us didn’t grow up with role models who looked like us, and a lot of people are still figuring out how to bring their full selves to work in this industry. But you don’t have to do it alone.
