Thank you so much to the excellent Danielle Bonanno and Aaron Baker for generously representing at the Voices of Note "TRANSformation" concert on Saturday. We love seeing the leadership and influence of initiative founder Gabrielle Claiborne on the arts and are so grateful to executive director David Aurilio for creating such a special program and space for connection and belonging.

Lambda Legal proudly launches #SpeakOUT — an awareness campaign where transgender and nonbinary voices will share their stories, life experiences, and messages of hope, love, and acceptance in the upcoming months. In celebration of #TransDayOfVisibility, we are kicking off this campaign today with a heartfelt video uplifting the voices of our plaintiffs, staff, and community advocates, who are living powerfully as their authentic selves. ?????? And they have a message for you: “We are human beings like you.” At a time when our community faces an onslaught of discriminatory bills and mourns the loss of precious lives like #NexBenedict, this campaign becomes not just an act of visibility but a vital testament to our remembrance and resilience. As our Trans and Nonbinary Rights Project Director, Sasha Buchert says: “Speak OUT aims to elevate the humanity, beauty, and resiliency of trans and nonbinary people. We are excited to share these voices — the brave faces of our siblings, neighbors, and schoolmates. They are living authentic lives, speaking up and challenging discriminatory and hateful legislation and policies spewing forth from states such as Florida and Texas.” Together, we Speak OUT to ensure that every voice, every story, is heard and cherished.
