This agency used broken billboards for its campaign. Campaign of the Week #32: Crisis Center? / ChappellRoberts / OUTFRONT Media / Crisis Center of Tampa Bay / USA After hurricanes Helene and Milton left Tampa Bay battered, local agency ChappellRoberts saw potential in the storm-damaged digital billboards. Partnering with Outfront Media, they created an ad for the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay: “When everything feels broken, call 2-1-1 for help.” The campaign initially aimed to use the glitching boards themselves to reflect the message; but when the damage proved too severe, the creative was instead displayed on fully working billboards, keeping the spirit of the idea alive. “This creative solution is representative of the optimism we feel for the Tampa Bay community — even in the hurt of brokenness after such devastation, coming together with creative solutions enabled an outlet for support." - Charlie Militello, Creative Director, ChappellRoberts.
