The end of a chapter, and the beginning of a new era...Outdoors for All is thrilled to announce that we've officially moved our headquarters to the Eastside! Our new space offers more room for team collaboration, enhanced storage, and improved access to programming on the Eastside. Rest assured, our beloved Magnuson Park programs are here to stay! We’ll continue offering our Seattle-based activities, including day camps, paddle programs, spin class, and the Magnuson Adaptive Cycling Center. While we're still getting settled into our new offices, programs didn't skip a beat. Our program team had a very successful month delivering 31 various programs during the month of September in addition to the ACC being open all 30 days! Last week, we hosted our first program at the new digs and delivered a private Learn 2 Ride lesson at Richards Road! Exciting things on the horizon at Outdoors for All and we can't wait to see what's next. Thank you to our participants, volunteers, donors, partners, and board members, for supporting us every step of the way!

We're excited to announce our new location at Lake Sammamish, was featured in the Seattle Times today! This new location is a huge step in expanding adaptive recreation opportunities for people of all abilities to enjoy the great outdoors and we are thrilled to be on the Eastside. LAKE SAMMAMISH STATE PARK — An unseasonably wet and cold summer day couldn’t dampen the spirits of these 24 cyclists, who are arguably the Seattle area’s most dedicated. Emerging from the cover of the Sunset Beach shelter at Lake Sammamish State Park, two dozen riders donned ponchos and mounted adaptive bikes for a celebratory pedal on a rainy August afternoon. The occasion? Celebrating?Outdoors for All?at its newest program center. Daily through Sept. 30 (with limited operation in October) and starting back up next May, the popular state park and Outdoors for All will offer more opportunities to ride and paddle for people with disabilities in Greater Seattle. On #WorldRangerDay, we celebrate and acknowledge all the park rangers who protect and preserve places around the world. From making trails, enforcing laws, and cleaning up litter; to restoring habitat, managing wildlife, and educating visitors; rangers wear many hats. Restoration crews, wildland firefighters, educators, trail crew workers, law enforcement officers, scientists, custodial workers, and naturalists are just a few of the different types of rangers that play an important role in inspiring stewardship for our natural world. First organized by the International Ranger Federation (IRF), World Ranger Day also honors those who have made the ultimate sacrifice protecting visitors and resources.
