Very excited to share the latest campaign launch for The Athletic! Focusing on what makes fans tick, while celebrating the passion that drives the game, The Athletic commissioned a survey revealing that?more than 70% of football fans?who do game-day rituals for good luck truly believe they do make their team play better, and?more than a third (37%) of fantasy players?change their lineups based on whether they have done their game-day ritual. Understanding game-day optimism, The Athletic’s “Superstition Swap” campaign celebrates the passionate rituals fans embrace to support their teams, combining the heart-of-fan traditions with the expert insights they need to navigate this season. We kicked things off with an impactful out-of-home campaign in New York, Philadelphia, Detroit and Los Angeles highlighting illustrations of sentimental game-day items from the likes of Anthony Ramos, Kylie Kelce, and Sam Richardson. NFL fans can also get in on the campaign by submitting their own game-day item or ritual at https://lnkd.in/e8uSZ-AG for a chance to be featured in the campaign themselves. Finally, we're hosting a series of watch parties for the first few games of the season in Kansas City, New York and Detroit.
