? Black, Queer, and Revolutionary ? William Dorsey Swann (1858-1954)—born into slavery, a trailblazer in drag, and the first known person to lead a queer resistance group in the U.S. ??????? Swann's fight for self-expression and LGBTQ+ rights laid the groundwork for the activists who've came after.
