In 2023, our Gemini dual-chemistry battery powered a BMW iX 608.1 miles on a single charge using a WLTP test cycle, the European standard for determining the range of fully electric vehicles.? ? This year, Our Next Energy is focused on further refinements to the battery system to prepare for commercialization. Our dedicated team of engineers, scientists and battery gurus working on Gemini will look to improve the efficiency of the DC-to-DC converter, develop enhanced control algorithms to optimize usage of the range extender cells and conduct further battery validation and cell development.
