Leveraging your data for sustainability and deeper investment We’ve long been a hub for learning, experimentation, and capacity-building for Arizona leaders. In 2023, our Building for the Future report confirmed what we knew — most of our organizations working and fighting for justice are vulnerable because most of our funding comes from national foundations with their own interests. Since launching the report, we’ve helped five organizations explore new funding strategies, and now, we’re putting our own lessons into action. Our Transforming Data into Impact series is a three-part, multi-layered learning experience that will equip you with data skills that you can apply in your role! Here's what you will learn: Training 1 - The People in Your Data: Reframing Data with Justice & Ethics in Mind | April 25 ??Review and expand their knowledge of data, data systems, and data tools that build the foundation for their work. ??Explore data justice, ethical data practices, and research methods that center communities. ??Identify risks and cybersecurity/data-safety tools and best practices. ??Assess their current data practices and identify areas to strengthen Data Justice in your work and with their organization.
