This month, we bring light to a deeply important issue that affects so many lives—suicide. It's a topic that too often remains in the shadows, but it's time we face it head-on with love, compassion, and understanding. For fathers, the pressure to be strong can be overwhelming. The silent struggles they endure, feeling they must carry the weight of the world, often go unnoticed. When fathers face these battles alone, the toll can be devastating—not just for them but for their families and especially for the youth who look up to them. And for those growing up without fathers, the absence can create a void that is hard to fill. Fatherless youth are statistically more vulnerable to feelings of loneliness, hopelessness, and despair, often left to navigate life's challenges without a guiding hand. This can lead to a dangerous path of self-doubt and, tragically, thoughts of suicide. It's crucial that we open up these conversations. Let's break the stigma, reach out, and support each other.
