We are looking forward to welcoming Emma Watson representing Our Youth For The Climate on September 10th, from 18:30-20:00 BST to the second Climate Courage campaign resource call. She?will be introducing this global grassroots organisation and youth-driven movement that is devising curricula to provide high-quality and accessible climate education to the next generation, encouraging widespread awareness and action toward our future. This will be a great opportunity to engage more directly with young people who, seeing that our current education is failing to prepare young generations for the challenges humanity is bound to face, organised to better educate themselves and peers. This September they will be piloting this curriculum (which to date has been online) with schools and teachers who have chosen to adopt it. While we may not have all the solutions yet, practice and perseverance makes perfect: from self-educating online this group of young people lead by Ava Langridge has been digging deep and getting their hands dirty to come up with a truthful, impactful climate curriculum that is adaptable to various contexts. ?? Building the Next Leaders at Digital Camp July ?? Last week, from July 24th to 26th, we hosted an incredible Digital Camp at Havas Village London. With the invaluable support of our expert mentors and team members, we delivered a 3-day hands-on experience focused on digital sustainability skills. ?? Our Workshops Covered: ?? Data and AI ?? Building Apps with AI ?? Coding with Raspberry Pi ?? Using AI in Data Analysis ?? Flying Drones ?? Building DIY Flashlights Through these sessions, our students gained practical applications in technology, sustainability, and business. They challenged themselves to be creative, work as a team, and develop green-tech solutions to combat climate change. ????
