We are hiring for a Counselor (30-40 hours per week) at Our Lady’s Inn maternity home in St. Charles County. The Counselor is responsible for the management of Our Lady’s Inn mental health and addiction support program at the Defiance Inn. The Counselor works with residential clients, on an individual basis and in group settings, to provide mental health and substance abuse counseling, support, resource referral, and education in a trauma-informed manner. The Counselor must?display a passion for our pro-life mission. An ideal candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychology with L.P.C., L.M.S.W., or L.C.S.W. and at least 2-4 years of counseling experience. ? At this year’s Luncheon for Life, we heard from our newest OLI Board Member, Denise Moore, who is a former resident of Our Lady’s Inn. 30 years ago, Denise was an unhoused mother of 2 children, expecting her 3rd child. With the compassion and support of Our Lady’s Inn Maternity Home in St. Louis City, Denise built a new foundation that led her to stable housing, a happy marriage, and a 25+ year career with the State of Missouri.
