Thank you to St. Louis Review for this wonderful article about the possible expansion of funding to the Alternatives to Abortion program. This funding will help Our Lady's Inn support the expectant mothers and their children at our maternity homes. Established in 2007, the Alternatives to Abortion program provides services and counseling to women at or below 185% of the federal poverty level. Funding is allocated by the Missouri General Assembly to the Department of Social Services through general revenue and the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) block grant. As we pray for the protection of the unborn today, we also celebrate the anniversary of Our Lady’s Inn (OLI)! OLI opened its doors on Jan. 22, 1982, to aid women in crisis pregnancies. The first Inn was located at St. John Nepomuk Parish in LaSalle Park. For 43 years, families have been housed and supported in their efforts to live healthy and productive lives, achieve educational goals, gain employment, and secure stable housing. Through the support of so many, we look forward to accompanying expectant mothers and their children as both they and we prepare for the future. We are looking for a Part-Time Facilities Operations Coordinator to support our two maternity homes. The Facilities Operations Coordinator is essential in fulfilling our mission by making sure that the Agency's health and safety standards are met, arranging for all scheduled inspections, and helping to coordinate the maintenance of our facilities and grounds. The Facilities Operations Coordinator is the point person for scheduling and maintaining records for facility service requests, monthly preventative maintenance, emergency drills, and accidents/incidents reported at the shelters. A qualified candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in business administration, operations management, or similar degree. Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong project and time management skills. Must have valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
