Thank you AmeriHealth Caritas for the invite to the Washington Business Journal Health Equity Forum last week! Alex Orfinger moderated a captivating discussion with Christopher J. King, PhD, FACHE, followed by a panel with Karen Dale from AmeriHealth Caritas, Carrie Stoltzfus from Food & Friends, Kimberley M. from Holy Cross Health and Mieka Wick from the The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation. Dylan Owens, MPH, who leads Ounce's community partnerships & programming, shared that it was great to hear such a diverse group of businesses, insurance payors, hospitals, philanthropists, and community-based organizations strategize about how we can collaborate and innovate to improve health outcomes and eliminate disparities in the region.
