Stephanie G-M (aka Stephanouli) is the celebrity makeup artist behind Ouli’s Ointment. After 11 years of working with different skin types, hundreds of products and throwing away lots of unnecessary packaging she decided it was time to create a clean cult brand. Stephanie believes adaptable products reduce the need for lots of stuff that ends up out of date and in the trash; that's why all our products are multi-use. Ouli's focus, as a sustainable brand is a reduction of waste in the beauty industry through minimal, reusable aluminium packaging and products that work in many ways. Ouli's Ointment aims to create multi-use products for skin and soul. Using organic or wildcrafted ingredients and reusable packaging our brand aims to reduce waste in the beauty industry and inspire simplicity, while creating adaptable products. Since launching as a one product brand, Ouli's Ointment has grown to encompass products that promote beauty being soul deep. A percentage of all sales is donated to local nonprofits we believe are essential in making our world a better place.

  • Ouli’s Ointment was created 7 years ago because as a makeup artist I saw a need for products that nourished and soothed and worked under and over makeup, as a face balm, highlighter, for burns etc without being greasy and with all the anti-oxidant benefits of organic Greek olive oil. At the time the majority of the products were petroleum based. Since then, I got a natural skincare formulator diploma, a perfumer certification and love the creation process. The journey of growth Ouli’s has taken me down has been challenging and exciting! The part that has always kept me going has been: Customer love and loyalty Support of family and friends Inspiration of the tiny island in Greece I grew up on and my Grandma (yiayia)

  • As more beauty brands expand into aluminium packaging for sustainability it creates tension for small businesses as it creates a supply chain issues of over demand. 7 years ago I knew I wanted my packaging to be aluminium because it is infinitely recyclable, creates shelf presence and is lightweight. As a makeup artist traveling with a kit full of glass packaging it was a must to have lightweight packaging that wouldn't be a breakage concern. Now as many more brands expand into aluminium it became very hard to source this year from trusted suppliers but we managed and our 4oz bottles are back in full stock. Without our trusted olive oil & ingredients suppliers and packaging suppliers we would struggle to stay afloat as so many brands.
