Congratulations to Luc Taburet, an undergraduate student in the Department of Bioengineering, Oakland University, for being honored as runner-up in the poster competition at the 2025?SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, Medical Imaging conference in San Diego. This international event highlights cutting-edge advancements in medical imaging, including image processing, AI, radiology, and biomedical applications. Competing against both graduate and undergraduate students, Luc presented his research as part of the Ultrasonic Imaging and Tomography session with his poster, "Comparison of Ultrasonic Envelope Statistics in the Patellar Tendon of Children with Cerebral Palsy."?

The School of Engineering and Computer Sciences was proud to host the Re:Making Michigan Innovation Expo, an Industry 4.0 Roadshow, at the Research & Innovation Center in Rochester Hills. Organized in collaboration with Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, the event brought together industry, students, and technology providers to explore the future of smart manufacturing through automation, robotics, AI, IoT, and digital transformation.
