Today, OTC Services had the pleasure of hosting fellows Joshua Sell, Joshua Perry, and Isabella Giampetro from the RCB Fellowship Program hosted by the Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University. Lead fellow Ronald Ngwashi, MSc, MBA/MS Finance Fellow, though unable to attend, is an integral part of this initiative, which aims to incorporate smart and assistive technologies to promote greater independence and improve the overall quality of life for our program participants. Meet Dorcus, our amazing Food Services Manager at Halverson Hall Dining Facility at the Joint Base. Her 31 years of service reflect her commitment and leadership in making a difference every day. Each day, she starts by checking emails and reviewing prior shift logs before leading a team meeting to discuss tasks, address concerns, and provide support. Her favorite part of working at OTC is witnessing clients grow, develop skills, and reach their full potential, making her job truly fulfilling. Over the years, she has learned that teamwork makes the dream work. When faced with last-minute challenges, her team comes together to strategize, find solutions, and excel in demanding situations. Outside of work, Dorcus enjoys traveling, reading, and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. We’re thrilled to congratulate Flora on earning an Outstanding Achievement Award! Her leadership and dedication have left a lasting impact on OTC! She played a vital role in engaging off-site government contract teams in our 60th Anniversary celebrations, encouraging participation in Spirit Week, the Give Back Committee, and the Open House. Flora also streamlined the rebranding of our government contract vehicles and supported our upcoming video series by identifying participants and assisting with the production. Additionally, she developed a janitorial training curriculum that has strengthened OTC’s partnerships with local schools, equipping clients with essential skills for future success.
