Thank you to OSU Center for the Future of Work who made today's Women in Leadership conference such an incredible experience! It's inspiring to see my alma mater delivering relevant content with such authentic and motivating speakers. Every woman who took the stage today empowered and uplifted others!
I thought Danielle Mansell (Toussaint) was a captivating keynote speaker, sharing valuable insights and tips on being a great leader! Dr. Meg Myers Morgan, PhD delivered with negotiation tips rooted in confidence, clarity, and conflict. I also loved Dr. Kelli Mosteller’s presentation, which gave me a fresh perspective on my interactions with both people and our planet. The Q&A panel was enlightening(Alexis Higgins, Rebecca Thompson, Shelly Lambertz, and Danielle Mansell), Jodi Lewis shared on leadership Oklahoma, Dr. Marjorie Erdmann, PhD empowered women to advocate for our health and health care, Nicole Galagan reminded us to stay rooted, and Onikah Asamoa-Caesar inspired both Tulsans and women with her powerful story. If you missed this year’s event, don’t miss it next time!
As an added bonus, I won a super cool Dallas Mavericks swag bag (complete with a signed jersey, NBA Finals net, signed photo, and a history of the Mavericks) which made me feel like I had Danielle Mansell (Toussaint) shower me with one of her confetti poppers ?? (THANK YOU)! And Dr Meg Myers Morgan, PhD stuck around to sign her book and introduce us to her sister, Amanda, a fellow ONEOK employee!
Finally, a shout out to ONEOK for investing in its workforce, sending over 90 women to attend the event! (Austin Knippers, Vanessa Smith, Alesia Spears, Teresa Morawski, Alice H., Terri Kinnick Arnold, Kristi Lenski, Sandra Thomason, Abby Clark — and so many more!)
All in all a great day.
Be BOLD.
