As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to our local communities, we will be highlighting one meaningful nonprofit every month! First up is Dog Is My CoPilot, Inc., a Jackson, Wyoming-based nonprofit organization that transports animals from overcrowded shelters around the country to adoption centers where each pet has the chance to find a safe and loving home. One particular passenger on a recent flight was a dog named Dove. She found herself at the El Paso Animal Shelter (EPAS) after being abandoned with her puppies. Her time was nearly up when Dog Is My CoPilot pulled her from EPAS. She quickly found herself when a local Jackson family saved her life. Many may recognize this fantastic family as OSM's own Krista and Rob LaPier, and we're proud to say that Dove has blossomed as a new family member and OSM office dog. According to Krista, "Dove now explores the woods, rivers, and trails of Wyoming. When she isn’t zoomy-ing around with her dog friends, her favorite place is wherever mom is. Last Friday, members from our Montana team had a fantastic time representing OSM at the 14th Annual Hope & The Holidays Golf Scramble for Kids! This wonderful event supports Hope & The Holidays in its mission to provide gifts, food, and support to families in the Bozeman and Gallatin Valley area throughout the year, especially during the holiday season. This past Friday, a few of our Bozeman-based team members had a rewarding morning of volunteering for Random Acts of Silliness at Glen Lake Rotary Park for their upcoming Bumblewood Thicket Fairy Village! The team prepared the trails by removing a large amount of trash and invasive weeds. As members of the Jackson and Bozeman communities, giving back is vital to us. By taking a broad approach to giving, our goal is to enrich our communities in a variety of critical areas. Earlier this month, our Montana team had the honor of participating in the highly successful Give Big Gallatin Valley. This 24-hour celebration of giving, which connects generous community members and businesses with causes they care about most, raised a staggering $3 million for 272 organizations in 2024. OSM was proud to contribute $10,000 towards matching employee donations, a testament to our community's generosity and spirit. Nearly a quarter of all MT employees donated to nonprofits of their choice during this event. A few even volunteered their time by participating in Bozeman Running Company's Run the Mill treadmill challenge, benefiting Cancer Support Community Montana.
