?????March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month: Early Detection Saves Lives Colorectal cancer is a significant health concern, being the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States. Regular screening is crucial because it can prevent many colorectal cancers and allows for early detection when treatment is most effective. Despite the availability of effective screening methods, screening rates remain far too low. Did you know that only 59% of eligible adults nationwide are up to date with screening guidelines? At Oshi Health, we are committed to improving these statistics. Our dedicated digestive health program focuses on patient engagement and activation to drive screenings. Within the commercial population of a national health plan, Oshi's clinic boosted colorectal cancer screening rates to 95% from a baseline of 79%. Read more in our blog: https://lnkd.in/eknditxs Through a novel partnership with the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), Oshi has developed partnerships with leading gastroenterology practices nationwide to facilitate scheduling and follow-through with colonoscopies for colon cancer screening and surveillance. This network will continue to grow this year and beyond. We encourage everyone aged 45 and older to speak with their healthcare provider about colorectal cancer screening options. Early detection saves lives. #ColorectalCancerAwareness #ScreeningSavesLives #GICare #OshiHealth #BlueForCRC

?? Going Blue for CRC Awareness! ?? At Oshi Health, we’re joining the #ColonCancerCoalition in going BLUE for Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Why? Because colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths, yet it’s also one of the most preventable with early screening and detection. ?? The stats are alarming: ?? Cases of colorectal cancer are rising in younger adults ?? 1 in 24 people will be diagnosed in their lifetime ?? But screening can catch it early – when it’s most treatable This month, we’re proud to stand with patients, advocates, gastroenterology practices, health plans and organizations like the Colon Cancer Coalition to raise awareness and encourage more people to get screened. ??Join us in wearing blue and reminding those around you to get screened. Early action saves lives! #BlueForCRC #ColorectalCancerAwarenessMonth #OshiHealth #GetScreened #PreventCRC #DigestiveHealth
