Working directly with the firm leadership, the Marketing Coordinator will manage the development of all communications materials. The right candidate will work independently, possess qualities of a self-starter, and engage in thoughtful communication. We seek a person who: Has marketing experience from a similar position, ideally within the Architecture/Constructing industry Is expert in MS Office; Adobe CS (especially InDesign); experience with CMS is a plus Fluent in English Has excellent communication, management, and organizational skills Curiosity, and an ambitious spirit Can effectively juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and ability to work independently Has an interest and knowledge of design Primary areas of responsibility Produce proposals in response to RFPs & RFQs Manage the creation and layout of all graphic aspects of proposals, qualifications, and marketing presentations. Work with firm leadership to create written content. Conduct outreach to subconsultants for materials for presentations and proposals. Lead market research for RFPs & RFQs throughout North America Research and track project leads and general industry information. Track, assemble and submit design awards. Update and maintain website content, posts, and announcements. Lead the graphic production and drafting of all social media posts, following brand guidelines and best practices. Offer ideas for new campaigns and planning. Work with studio to create posts for social media, and the website. Maintain content and organization of resumes, project information, and project imagery. Today Trust for Governors Island announced our new project with SHoP Architects for our incredible client Taco Vista: a new events and F&B destination on 3 acres of waterfront. The project will adaptively re-use a historic military structure adjacent to the main ferry stop, while two restaurants and a cafe will spill out onto a new landscpe overlooking the NY Harbor and Skyline. OSD is proud to share our plans for the Dune House, a new ground-up building at the heart of our master plan for Stanton Yards in the Little Village neighborhood of Detroit. The Dune House will be an indoor-outdoor structure housing a waterfront restaurant and office building with community-accessible roof space. Conceived as an urban gesture guiding?people from the city to the waterfront, the building’s interior will incorporate light and bright materials such as driftwood ceilings, shell terrazzo, buoy lights, and ample natural light. An easy walk up the sloped exterior will reward visitors with a view over the marina, a waterfront amphitheater, and a children’s play scramble. As visitors enter the park, the dunes will gently guide them down to the water’s edge, where they can look into the water to see the fish swim by. Our holistic design of the space draws inspiration from the dune geology of the Detroit River region. We can’t wait for visitors to see it! Special thanks to clients Anthony and JJ Curis of Library Street Collective and our collaborators at SO – IL, who are designing four additional commercial buildings at Stanton Yards.
