ITS THERAPY PUB NIGHT! ?? | Members of our therapy team joined together tonight for “Pub Night.” Several members of our team spoke in an open forum on their particular areas of expertise. Our team commits to this practice quarterly to improve our skills and to elevate patient care! Jean Johnson, Physical Therapist, spoke on one of our patient’s favorite sports, Pickleball! ?? ?? Fun Fact: while pickleball has only recently gained popularity, it has been around since 1965! One legend of how it gained its iconic name, is that the originally family who developed this lovable game had a dog named Pickles! Madeline Fetzko, one of our Occupational Therapists, spoke on tennis elbow and golfers elbow.????? Fun fact: you don’t have the play these sports to suffer this injury. These overuse injuries can impact anyone completing repetitive type activities! Thomas Garavito, PTA, spoke on common injuries in the game of golf. ?? Fun Fact: despite its indicative name, golfers elbow is far less common in this game than tennis elbow. Tennis elbow occurs 5x more in these athletes!

We had a wonderful evening hosting our community for an informative seminar on the Nalu Neurostimulation System utilized by Dr. William Mills. Patients came and learned about the benefits of the Nalu Neurostimulation System on chronic pain conditions. Utilized for several conditions, the small size and extraordinary capabilities give patients more options for managing intractable chronic pain. Thankful for where we have been, but so excited for where we are heading. We are making progress on our new location, set to open fall 2025. For our loyal patients of many years, don’t worry!
