Thinking like bacteria to minimize implant contamination Ostaguard? research and product development required the Orthobond Surface Design Lab to think from bacteria’s perspective. Among the initial questions that needed to be answered were how #bacteria are getting on the implant (i.e. air, handling), which surfaces the #implant comes in contact with, and if operating-room variables lead to different outcomes.
