This week, the University of Arizona announced the grand opening of the Lundgren Consumer Science Center University of Arizona Norton School of Human Ecology.? This state-of-the-art facility is set to revolutionize retail education and research, thanks to the generous support of Terry Lundgren and Tina Lundgren. The Center features cutting-edge technology, including VR digital twin, a University Center for Assessment, Teaching, and Technology (UCATT)?digital makerspace for influencer content, an Ortery Technologies product shots and advanced customer tracking and analytics from Amoobi. With instruction from key Faculty and Lab stewardship from Jay Sampson & Sheila Kressler-Crowley, MS & Elena Rodriguez, students will gain hands-on experience in diverse retail scenarios, preparing them to excel in the ever-evolving retail landscape. Lundgren Center for Retailing at the University has crafted an interdisciplinary program where Retail and Consumer Science students, computer science interns, and faculty collaborate and use the technologies of Ortery to enrich the student experience while providing added value to its current and prospective brand partners. ?
