Reinforcing its commitment to Central Alabama, Orlando Health has donated $25,000 to the Baptist Health Foundation’s New Generation Nurses Fund. Contributions to the fund are matched dollar-per-dollar by the Baptist Health Foundation and the Baptist Health System, bringing the total gift to $75,000. The funds will be used to support the Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing at Samford University. A scholarship will be awarded to a student each year in the nursing school who has financial need and intends to practice nursing in the greater Birmingham area post-graduation.
